SIMPLY SAILING
The modern aesthetics continue the new design language of the SUNBEAM 28.1. The new SUNBEAM 22.1 appeals equally to cruising and regatta sailors alike and is versatile in its application. Continuous chines on the hull as well as a backstay-free self-trimming Bergström rig underline these ambitions. Two-metre-long cockpit benches, along with bow and stern rails, lifelines, a bathing ladder, and self-tailing winches on the coachroof included as standard, reflect the high comfort standards.
In collaboration with J&J Design, numerous intelligent detail solutions were developed, such as the retractable pre-balanced bionic rudder and the pivoting ballast keel. In this variant, the ballast weight is integrated into the hull, ensuring high safety and stability. The Sunbeam 22.1 can be ordered with a foldable outboard motor bracket or with a permanently installed E-Pod motor with a removable lithium battery – ideal for mooring buoy users as well.
Young – Sporty – Elegant
The 6.85-metre-long and 2.49-metre-wide SUNBEAM 22.1 can be easily launched and trailered thanks to its low weight of 1.3 tonnes. With a mainsail of 17 square metres and a headsail of 11 square metres, the new SUNBEAM 22.1 is anything but underpowered and can optionally be equipped with a furling gennaker. Thanks to the special hull design at the bow, the interior with a double berth offers generous space for a boat of this size and can be extended to four sleeping berths if required.
Whether for a family holiday or regatta racing, the new SUNBEAM 22.1 is the ideal solution for sailors who like to stay mobile and flexible throughout the entire year.
