SUNBEAM 29.1 GT
SUNBEAM Yachts is never satisfied with the status quo. This is also the case with the SUNBEAM 29.1. Based on the current SUNBEAM 29.1, a GT model has been developed that focuses even more on performance and sportiness.
GT stands for Gran Tourismo and is characterized by consistent weight optimization.

More InformationMore performance
Thanks to its special shape, the Performance T-keel ensures less resistance in the water and more speed. With a draft of 175 cm, it offers the same righting moment with less weight. The twin rudder system is replaced by a single deep racing rudder, giving you more sensitivity at the tiller.
MORE sailing performance
The removable bowsprit of the sailing yacht is 50 cm longer, so that an A2 gennaker with 80 m² can be used. The greater distance between the forestay and gennaker ensures more comfortable handling. With a total of 110m2 downwind, this provides even more downwind power.
For classic regatta courses, a 75m² spinnaker can also be set on the standard spinnaker rig.
MORE INTERIOR
Instead of the galley, a gennacker/spinnaker recovery bag is integrated, which makes it easy to stow the downwind sails in the companionway. The bunk in the foredeck can be replaced by a sail loft. The SUNBEAM 29.1 GT can also be optionally equipped with a carbon mast.
Deck design & deck equipment
All halyards and lines are led below deck to the helmsman, allowing relaxed single-handed sailing with a clean look. Everything is tidy and has its place.
The version with double helm position is available for the SUNBEAM 29.1 and the GT version. SUNBEAM Yachts has thus succeeded in further expanding the balancing act between comfort and sportiness.
MORE sustainability
A 1.6 KW Aquamot Travel with removable battery serves as the drive. The on-board electrical system is dispensed with and replaced by an optional power bank.
These modifications can save approx. 500 kg in weight, depending on the equipment. As an alternative to teak decking, we use lightweight cork decking.
