Our standard motors are electric. Alternatively, diesel engines are also available (depending on the model). - Electrics & navigation:
Raymarine/Simrad, lithium batteries on request, solar options, modern instruments. - Water/waste water system:
Pressurized water system, optional grey water tanks (for areas with regulations).
Sailing characteristics
- Performance cruiser character:
SUNBEAM yachts have a sporty design with a deep keel (optional short keel or swing keel) and good upwind performance. - Steering feel:
Direct, precise – rudder blade large enough for good control, even on waves. - Rig variants:
Furling jib or self-tacking jib possible, optional gennaker/code Z equipment.
Comfort & sense of space
- Interior:
Generous headroom (up to 2 m depending on model), light-colored furniture, good ventilation. - Layouts:
Open galley, large saloon, separate wet room with shower, very good sense of space. - Cockpit & deck:
Ergonomic, high freeboards, deep cockpit for safety. Large bathing platform.
Individualization
- Equipment options:
Choice of wood types, upholstery, technical packages, electrics, sail configuration. - Special solutions:
Werft sometimes enables special constructions or individual requests.
Security

Low center of gravity due to deep keel, high ballast ratio. - Long-range suitability:
Especially for models from 32 feet upwards (e.g. SUNBEAM 32.1, 36.1 or 46.1).

- Starting prices (new ex shipyard):
SUNBEAM 22.1 from approx. 50,000 €, SUNBEAM 32.1 from approx. 210,000 €, depending on equipment. - Resale value:
