The SUNBEAM 29.1 can be flexibly adapted to the respective life situations, the sailing area and the general conditions. The idea behind the new SUNBEAM 29.1 was to build the ultimate weekender that is more than just a daysailer. With MORE comfort, MORE flexibility and MORE performance.
The SUNBEAM 29.1 perfectly reflects the current zeitgeist. Because this sailing boat provides the answer to low water levels, the desire for an all-rounder that adapts flexibly to the respective conditions and living circumstances.
MORE flexibility
The new sailing yacht is equipped with a hydraulic swivel keel. As an option, the keel can also be adjusted electrically at the touch of a button from the comfort of the cockpit. This allows us to react to low water levels and offers owners maximum flexibility when choosing their sailing area. With a length of 9 m and a width of 2.5 m, the boat is easy to trailer.
Thanks to the hydraulic swivel keel, which has a minimum draught of 85 cm, the boat sits low on the trailer, guaranteeing a relaxed and safe journey to your destination.
MORE Interior
The new SUNBEAM 29.1 is available as an option. available with a pantry and/or wet room module. The highlight is that these modules can also be retrofitted. This allows the sailboat to adapt to changing customer requirements and also offers the new owner the option of further customization in the event of a later resale.

MORE performance
The canting keel not only offers MORE flexibility, but also the corresponding MORE sailing performance with its maximum draught of 1.85m. This is underlined by the twin rudder system and tiller steering. The result is outstanding handling with maximum control and agility. The combination of squaretop mainsail and self-tacking jib offers the perfect
combination of performance and comfort with a maximum sail area upwind of 47 square meters.
MORE comfort and MORE space
All halyards and lines are led below deck to the helmsman, allowing relaxed single-handed sailing with a clean look. Everything is tidy and has its place. The winches in the cockpit are also available in an electric version. We also offer an electric anchor solution for the bowsprit
. The autopilot is also conveniently integrated and installed below deck.
MORE sustainability
We also continue to avoid the use of tropical wood. We have been using Resysta on our yachts for several years now as an alternative to teak decking. It consists of rice husks and mineral salts and is therefore a
natural product made from unused parts of the food industry. A defined area for solar panels is provided in the deck superstructure to supply instruments, refrigerator and radio with energy while sailing. This means that
