2nd SUNBEAM Cup & Class Championship on Lake Attersee

Summary

The SUNBEAM Cup on Lake Attersee was a complete success - high participation, fair races and a good dose of regatta expertise among sailors. The 2nd SUNBEAM Cup 2025 showed once again that community and competition go hand in hand at SUNBEAM events.

Last weekend, 20 SUNBEAM yachts met at the picturesque Attersee – YES Chamber – for the traditional summer regatta. The SUNBEAM Cup and the class championship were held in the SUNBEAM 24 and SUNBEAM 28.1 boat classes. For the first time, the new SUNBEAM 29.1 all white took part in the regatta and was able to claim victory with the SUNBEAM team.

The weather was ideal: perfect conditions for exciting races. A total of three races were sailed – a small challenge for tactics and endurance.
